Millennium Partners Continue to Redefine the American Luxury Developer

Founded in 1991 by Christopher M. Jeffries, Philip E. Aarons, and Philip H. Lovett, Millennium Partners has built an impeccable reputation developing large-scale luxury properties that are driving the urban renaissance across the United States.

They’ve grown to include partner’s Steven L. Hoffman, Pamela Malkani, Mario Palumbo Jr. and Richard G. Baumert, and have amassed a portfolio valued today at over $4 billion. Each of partner’s has brought with them a unique skillset, which has made them invaluable to the company. Mr. Hoffman's primary role with Millennium Partners is to analyze potential site acquisitions, negotiate leases and joint venture agreements with Millennium Partners' equity investors and corporate tenants and arrange financing for the company's developments. Ms. Malkani, a senior lodging industry executive, joined Millennium is 1996 expressly to help implement a hotel business strategy. One of her key areas of focus has been the successful introduction of The Phillips Club, the prestigious extended-stay lodging and fractional membership residence in Manhattan.

Mr. Palumbo joined Millennium Partners in 1997. He initially oversaw the development of Millennium's mixed-use Ritz-Carlton developments in Washington, DC, Georgetown and Battery Park City in lower Manhattan. Today he is responsible for Millennium Partner's commercial assets, which currently consists of six clubs operating under The Sports Club/LA brand name and managed by Millennium's Boston-based subsidiary, Millennium Partners Sports Club Management. Richard G. Baumert is responsible for West Coast development, residential sales and marketing efforts and Millennium Partners' international operations, which includes offices in Hong Kong and Taipei, Taiwan. Mr. Baumert responsibilities included project management, operations, asset management, and sales and marketing for the residential real estate component, of Millennium Partners' mixed-use Four Seasons Hotel & Tower. And, in San Francisco, he developed and led the highly successful sales, marketing and operations aspects of Millennium Tower, one of the most acclaimed luxury residences in the United States, Millennium Tower is the first Millennium Partners project in San Francisco to bear the company's name.
